ROOFTOP RETREAT

Our client, a young family, wanted a versatile space for both relaxation and entertaining. 
With this in mind, we transformed their rooftop patio prioritizing privacy, seasonality, and ease of care.

We began by expanding the existing planter boxes to increase soil volume and planting space. Then, we constructed custom slatted planters to help segment the area and add visual interest.

We introduced a Dogwood Pagoda and Japanese Maple—anchoring the space with sculptural form and seasonal beauty. These were paired with a diverse mix of perennials to bring texture, movement, and year-round appeal.
